Feel too young for Menopause? Picture this: You’re in your late 30s or early 40s, pursuing your dreams and perhaps raising a family. The last thing on your mind is the “M” word, menopause, because, after all, that’s something reserved for your later years, right? Well, not exactly. Welcome to the world of Perimenopause, a stage of a woman’s life that often sneaks up on them when they least expect it.

I was a busy, working mom of three who put everyone else first. It’s an easy routine to fall into. Today, most women struggle with trying to find a balance between unrelenting work, family, and life responsibilities and other things, like our own health, are put on hold for other priorities.

We can fall into that frustrating place where you’re trying to make healthier choices but feel stuck because it all seems too tough, what you have tried isn’t working, or you’re just not sure where to start. This is where simple, tried-and-true approaches can come into play.

In this blog, I’ll delve into the complex realm of Perimenopause, unraveling its early onset and the surprising array of symptoms that can accompany it. As well as explore the many facets of Perimenopause, dispel myths, and offer support to empower you on your own path to hormonal balance. Whether you are experiencing unexpected changes in your body or just curious about what might lie ahead, join me on this journey as we learn to navigate it with balance and confidence.

I was newly divorced and going through a lot of change in my life. It was a stressful time for sure! After some time, I realized these subtle changes and symptoms had been evident for some time. I was experiencing extreme fatigue and sleepless nights. For some time, I brushed all this off and thought it was attributed to the changes happening in my life. I started to realize the way I was feeling was more than just feeling run down. I started to notice changes in my digestion, spikes and drops in my blood sugar, extreme fatigue and insomnia, and weight gain. This sparked my interest in perimenopause and I was determined to discover ways to alleviate symptoms and navigate through this transition.

Whether you’re seeking information about managing symptoms, embracing self-care, or simply craving a community of like-minded women who understand the rollercoaster of emotions that can come with perimenopause and menopause, this blog is your go-to resource.
